Sarah BlodgettAs a portrait and landscape photographer in R hasp N.Y., Sarah Blodgett tries to combine human ultimate parts such as man-made machinery, with the simple uncompounded bodys of nature. "I look after to portray nature as it is, rather than something it isn't," she said. "I direct the eye to pay homage to nature by the agency of photographing even the most dismal weather. I like the sculptural aspect of simple beauty in the starkness." Blodgett was raised in of recent origin York and began taking pictures at the age of 10 She obtained a bachelor of science step in visual arts from SUNY novel Paltz, and later attended the San Francisco Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited in many assemblage shows and has been printed in numerous publications, similar as Country Living Gardener and Fine Gardening magazine. In May, Blodgett plans to make open an art gallery in Rhinebeck, NY where she will feature local artists.
