FIAC holds 30th-anniversary show - Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain - Brief ArticlePARIS -- The Foire Internationale d'Art Contemporain (FIAC) will celebrate its 30th anniversary Oct 9 to 13 With works of art from 165 international galleries based in 22 countries, FIAC 2003 will present modern, contemporary and cutting-edge art by the agency of nearly 1,000 artists. The art upon view includes paintings, sculpture, works upon paper, photography, video and installation. "FIAC 2003 will be a trice to celebrate over 30 years of history in which the best galleries have championed centurys of artists who were one time obscure and have since made a name for themselves," said FIAC General Manager Jean-Daniel Compain. FIAC 2003 will be held at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.
