Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery launches with "ArtApparatus" exhibition - gallery News - Brief Article

of recent origin YORK -- A new art gallery uncloseed its doors this September with a cluster exhibition focused on artists who contribute to the interplay between contemporary media arts and photography.

The Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery, located in the Chelsea art district ill Manhattan, is dedicated to the exhibition, inquiry and sale of moving image and photographic works. "My goal is to make bare a generation of video and moving image artists to collectors unfamiliar with the medium and at the same time act in a supportive part to institutions and foundations firmly planted within the medium," said Bryce Wolkowitz, the gallery's founder

The gallery's "ArtApparatus" exhibition features 15 pieces, of the like kind as LED (light-emitting diodes) displays and installations that feature custom electronics by the agency of both emerging artists and those who have already contributed significantly to the genre Participating artists include Jim Campbell, Alan Rath, John F Simon, Jr and Steina, who hail from backgrounds in science, mathematics and music theory.
