Michael Godard awards cruise to top salesperson - gallery News - Brief Article

LAHAINA, Hawaii -- Art Consultant Billy Peppard of Sargents Fine Art here lately won a contest sponsored by dint of Michael Godard Fine Art. Peppard was awarded a 10-day Mexican cruise for being the consultant who sold the greatest in quantity Michael Godard pieces in six month He sold a total of 88 prints.

"Sargents was single of our first accounts and has consistently sold and followed the programs we designed since the beginning," said David Smith, chief executive officer of Michael Godard Fine Art. "Michael wanted to give something special to the family who work the front lines, as these are the clan who make an artist successful"

"I really want to thank the nation selling my work," said Godard, whose work is featured in more than 150 galleries worldwide. "Next year, during my '2004 Naughty Artist Tour,' I have parceled $100,000 in giveaways." Previous awards given as incentives to consultants include more than 90 prints and sum of two units originals.

When Peppard was asked who he plans upon taking as his guest upon the cruise, he said, "Since scope and food is included upon the cruise, I decided to take Dick Sargent, the holder of the gallery--if he overlays the bar bill."
