Inventive designs on display in Schiaparelli retrospective - Philadelphia - Brief ArticleKnown for her innovative and sometimes shocking designs, Italian-born designer Elsa Schiaparelli is the focus of a fresh retrospective at the Philadelphia Museum of Art called "Shocking! The Art and Fashion of Elsa Schiaparelli."
