Mary Engelbreit wins Best Art License of the Year. - Up Front - award for Mary Engelbreit Studios - International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association LIMA - Brief Articlenovel YORK -- Mary Engelbreit Studios was honored with the 2002 "Best Art License of the Year" award from the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA). The company also won the award in 2000 Debbie Mumm Inc. and ArtMerchandising & Media AG for Keith Haring were the other nominees in the art license category. Engelbreit and Haring were also nominated for 2002 "Overall Best License of the Year." In 2002 Engelbreit fulfilled her dream of becoming a children's work illustrator with the publication of The Night Before Christmas.
