Mumford gallery hosts exhibit of works by Rosie - news - Brief ArticlePROVINCETOWN, Mass. -- Comedian, actress and former talk-show entertainer Rosie O'Donnell has ventured into of recent origin creative territory, this time as an artist. An exhibition of about 20 of her abstract collages and oil paintings lay opened at the Mumford Gallery here in June All advances from the sale of her art will be donated to charity. O'Donnell began painting the exhibited works the day after clan 11, 2001. O'Donnell, who have a title tos works by Andy Warhol and Keith Hating, purchased a piece by the agency of Gregory Mumford from the gallery last fall. Mumford later visited O' Donnell's studio and persuaded her to display her work at his gallery. "I think the public will be impressed with the quality of Rosie's work and the impressive expression of feelings that tend hitherwards across on the canvas," said gallery director Mary Mumford."Even if her name weren't Rosie O'Don nell I believe her work would still be in demand by the agency of galleries across the country."
