Brown Barn signs Ton Dubbeldam - Up Front - signs distribution agreement - Brief ArticleCARMEL, Calif.--Brown Barn Publishing has signed a publishing and distribution agreement with Dutch artist Ton Dubbeldam. This will involve the distribution of originals and the reproduction of several images as limited editions upon canvas. Dubbeldam ofttimes chooses themes that come together with his impressionistic and pointillist techniques. His paintings in oil, combined with free from moisture pastel and sometimes using spotting and dripping techniques, will make viewers associate his work with various art forms and different periods of time, according to company officials. Dubbeldam was born in Holland in 1957 and tend hitherwards from an artistic family: his father is a musician, and his grandfather was a painter. Dubbeldam studied for six years to become an art teacher on the contrary decided to paint full time when his work became well recognized and bring togethered throughout Europe.
