Fletcher-Terry releases F-6100 software upgrade - opinion - Brief ArticleFARMINGTON, Conn -- The Fletcher-Terry Company has introduced a software upgrade, Version 40 for the F-6100 Computerized Mat Cutter which includes many novel capabilities. Nine fresh patterns are now available in the single-opening design defence The new patterns include castle corner, circuit corner, t-bird corner, clover corner, scallop corner, imperial corner, Victorian corner, pennant and fan. A novel "accents" section includes v-grooves, title openings and bridge borders all in single location. These accents can be added to any of the 50 standard design openings and altered as necessary. With Version 40 users can insert representatives and fonts directly into a multiple-opening design. Users can also pitch upon from 50 standard pattern designs and/or customize using the individual corner feature, which enables the user to change single or more corners of an opening. Users can prefer from 17 categories of types (clip art) to enhance mat designs and five categories of templates (complex mat designs). A user-defined category enables framers to save the greatest in quantity difficult and time-consuming designs for coming time use. Thumbnail pictures allow for ease of locating designs. Categories include western, sorcerer, nation plants, holiday, states, flags and more. Eight baptismal vessels have been added to enhance design creativity. Among these of recent origin fonts are Future, Greek, Sorcerer, Stencil, Stoneage, Western, Alien and Digital.
