Latitudes presents original engravings by Demarais - Exhibitor News - Joseph Demarais, US - Brief ArticleHOUSTON -- Latitudes Fine Art will introduce the engravings of the artist Joseph Demarais (1927-1971) at Artexpo. The works have been gathered by various institutions, including the Smithsonian and the Victoria Albert Museum. Joseph Demarais produc more than 800 plates using a variety of materials including cent zinc, brass, acetate and masonite. He called his technique of incised lines and built-up surfaces intaglio-relief.
