Artist John Miller dies at 70 - news - UK - Obituary

LONDON -- After a short illness, internationally acclaimed artist John Miller died in July at his domicile in Penzance just one week before his 71st birthday.

Miller was born in London, and after acting in film, television and theatre productions and studying architecture, he mov to Cornwall in 1958 to live and paint.

A member of several artist organization, he exhibited in several solo and cluster shows throughout the world. His paintings were first published as placards and cards by The Art collection (distributed in the U.S. by means of Image Conscious in San Francisco) and have since become a certain quantity of of the world's most recognized and popular images.

Miller raised thousands of dollars for various charities. A man of of great depth spirituality, his paintings reflect the glee optimism and beauty in all he saw around him. For information upon Miller or his work, visit www.artgroup.com.
