Blazing Publications signs Pat Lambrecht Hould - news - Brief Article

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. -- Blazing Publications has signed abstract artist Pat Lambrecht Hould after noticing her work at Artexpo fresh York in March. Lambrecht Hould's work is produc upon large gold-, silver- or copper- leafed canvases using the leaf as a mirrored light source for layers of acrylic glazes. She then collages antique papers onto the glazes to create a fusion of many layers of leafing, collage and acrylic glazes. She worked originally as a sculptor, later going into oil painting and has worn out the last 25 years working in transparent watercolor and acrylics.

According to Alan Blazar, vice president of Blazing Publications, "We were delighted to find a synergy with Pat and knew she would be a useful addition to our line. Her pieces work well in one as well as the other the home and corporate environments, which is something we were looking for in our nearest artist."

To best portray Lambrecht Hould's diction the company has created what Blazer said is "something different in the limited edition market. Although each piece in a series has the same base image, each piece is unique unto itself with Pat adding her unique combine of metals, collage and glazes to each one"

Blazing is introducing four of recent origin editions, which are being marketed as mixed-media limiteds, as well as selling originals.
