Tips for entering a competition … - Brief ArticleDon't permit the entry fees stop you--competitions can take away from money, but you can win it back ten-fold in sales and monetary awards. Winning an award makes for great material to project out in press releases, and the finished piece will direct the eye great on your wall. in like manner just go for it. flat if you're new to framing, entering a competition is great experience. Here's a certain number of advice from Jody Norton, an award-winning CPF * Take apportionments of time to study the piece. Address its period, diction texture, pattern, color, etc. * justices pay attention to every detail, with equal reason make sure your submission is absolutely completed down to how the wire is wrapped in the back. * Include three to five techniques. display your work, and let the justices know you are proficient at it. * Again, take your time with the piece. Make a certain quantity of prototypes, practice your idea and diocese what subtle or major changes you ne to make. * prove to incorporate a new technique. It is something that will secure the judges interested. * place aside time to work. Competition can be an intense time, and day-to-day work can be a distraction. put to proof working after hours or upon days off when you won't be interrupted and you'll be able to focus. * Les is more.
