Corps commits to robust program for small business contracting


The time to come for small business participation in Corps of Engineers contracts will remain bright according to agency officials who addressed the Eighth Annual Corps Small Business discourse Nov. 30-Dec. 2 in Arlington, Va. The discourse was co-hosted by the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).

Corps Chief Engineer Lt Gen Carl Strock told attendees that he was "personally committed to increasing small business" opportunities within the Corps. Strock noted that the agency's requirement for Division and District commanders to attend the annual discourse underscored the Corps' commitment to the small business
