Global Fine Art Editions signs two new artists - news - Brief Article

NEWPORT COAST, Calif.--Global Fine Art Editions Inc. has signed exclusive contracts with contemporary French impressionist Jacques-Jean Boiredon and contemporary Russian artist Victor Anufriev of St Petersburg Russia. below the agreements, Global Fine Art Editions Inc. has established exclusive publishing and distribution rights for the artists' work, which will be published as limited-edition giclees.

Born in the Gorki Region of Russia in 1958 Anufriev graduated from society in Gorodetz in 1978 with a step in painting. He went upon to study at the Design Department of the Mukhina Academy of Applied Arts in St Petersburg and joined the faculty of the Academy's Monumental Painting Department in 1991 In 1994 Anufriev accepted an invitation to join the Artist's Union, a juried membership originally established to proffer subsidies to professional Russian artists.

According to company officials, the giclee editions being presented reveal the artist's European influences of the modernist move by artists such as Chagall, Picasso and Miro while reflecting a decidedly personal signature turn of expression Anufriev has exhibited in Russia, Holland, the U and Finland. His original artwork is base in private collections in Russia, France, Holland, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Italy, Ecuador, Hong Kong Canada and the United States.



Boiredon, born in 1927 in the Saumur region of France in the heart of the Loire Valley, has received international attention for his depictions of the French landscape, the pair on canvas and in porcelain. Trained at the academy of Fine Arts in Limoges, Boiredon worked for several years as a painter of porcelain. Then, working with palate knife and brush, Boiredon taught himself in what manner to paint on canvas, choosing sights from his homeland as his favorite controls It was not until the late 1980 however, that his original canvases were first seen in Paris, discovered by dint of the Galerie du Claridge.

Boiredon's favorite bring under rules include the Loire area from Blois to Nantes, the landscapes of the Loire Valley and the laborers in the lavender fields.

Boiredon's work is in the permanent collection at Galerie de Vosge in Paris, and he has been honored through the French government for his paintings. His original artwork is ground in private collections throughout France, Spain, Great Britain, Sweden, Austria, Italy, Japan, Canada, Gabon and the United States.
