Clemente C. Mimun - Emerging ArtistsArtist Clemente C Mimun, who goe by means of his first name, "Clemente," has been gaining attention for his vibrant, expressionist works. Using his imagination as his guide, Clemente's paintings include a vast repertoire of figurative, abstract, landscape and floral images. "My art is an idea dictated by dint of the emotion of the jiffy transferred onto the canvas using different colors as words to create the composition I add and subtract from the reality what I think necessary in order to reach harmony between form and color. The color expresse my state of mind, and the originate must be joyous," he said. Clemente has exhibited at many galleries, including Elysabeth Edward Fine Art in Laguna Beach, Calif.; sight Elias Gallery in West Palm and Palm Beach, Fla.; Powell road Gallery in San Francisco; Things Graphic in Washington, DC; and Chrysalis Gallery in southern Hampton, N.Y. The son of a gallery possessor Clemente spent his childhood living in Tunisia and later in Paris.
