InterArt® and Atelier America launch ARTSCAPES small print, card program - news - Bloomington, Indiana - Brief Article

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.--InterArt and Atelier America have launched a fresh program of small-format fine art prints and collectible greeting cards called ARTSCAPES[R]. The program, marketed below InterArt's Sunrise[R] Greetings brand, features imagery created with Atelier America's patented proces which creates an image with a three-dimensional surface web with the look and perceive of oil paint on canvas. The collection includes classics by dint of artists such as Monet, Renoir and van Gogh as well as a unique selection of works from a certain number of of today's contemporary artists.

According to InterArt's Senior Vice President of Marketing John Mavrakis, ARTSCAPES allows retailers to break into the lucrative fine-art market with minimal investment while offering customers a high-quality product

"The ARTSCAPES program was designed to bring fine art not on the walls of museums and galleries and into consumers' hands," said Mavrakis. "Whether it's a collectible card or a small print, the quality of these pieces stands without offering people a totally of recent origin way to make art part of their lives."



ARTSCAPES cropss use patented technologies and specially designed materials lay opened by Atelier America. According to Harvey Kalef, chairman and institutor of Atelier America, the ARTSCAPES proces recreates the original beauty of artists' masterpieces.

"Recreating great art, that finished fusion of the artist's skill and vision, has elud mankind until now," Kalef said. "ARTSCAPES is the accrue of a combination of uncompounded bodys never before envisioned, brought together in a vividly personal expression of color and texture"

ARTSCAPES is testing in more than 100 retail stores this winter and, if trials go as expected, should be available to all Sunrise customers in 2002 according to company officials. The sum of two units programs--one of collectible greeting cards and single of matted prints--come with custom merchandising and made of wood display stands. The print program also draw nears with wooden frames in gold and silver tones. There are 24 matted print designs in three sizes, retailing from $999 to $1999 There are 54 card designs in sum of two units sizes, retailing for $2.99 and $499
