Charles Ashley's Fine Art opens its doors - Gallery news - Brief ArticleCARY, N.C.--Charles Ashley's Fine Art, a novel gallery here, recently opened its doors with a black-tie, invitation-only gala. The gallery specializes in limited-edition prints, originals and limited-edition plastic art by both international and local artists. Six artists attended the circumstance including Matthew Hillier and John Mullane from Mill Pond Pres Heide Presse and Laura Von Stetina from Greenwich Workshop, Julia Roger from somersault House and John Banovich from Banovich Fine Art Editions. Each displayed a mixture of limited-edition prints and originals. "The grand opening was a bulky success," said Nancy Mullen, the gallery's director.
