Taking care of customers is not solitary good for the users of R Wing Software's accounting application, it's a paying proposition for the vendor's software reseller

VARs are now eligible for 30 percent margins when a customer recreates service and maintenance contracts below a new program called Customer Care Membership that was introduced last fall by means of the Red Wing, Minn.-based software vendor. It's something of a carrot-and-stick approach in a single tool. Reseller that barter renewals and bill end users directly receive 30 percent margin upon renewal rates that range from $700 to $2500

on the other hand for those end users billed by means of Red Wing Software, resellers have 90 days to repurchase the margin in the form of a credit towards the purchase of software.
