Burnes of Boston Joins in Fight Against Breast Cancer - gift to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation - Brief Article

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I.--Ready-made frame manufacture, Burne of Boston, is joining in the fight against breast cancer by dint of donating 10 percent of gin sales from its new collection of photo frames to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The frame line is titled "Woman to Woman: Advice for Living." The cast was launched in July.

"The photo frame business is driven by the agency of the needs of female consumers" said Renee Solczak, vice president of sales for Burne of Boston. "With breast cancer affecting women in epidemic proportions, Burne of Boston is assuming to help raise awareness of this disease and its treatments and support the prestigious Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, which is doing in the way that much to eradicate breast cancer."

Burne of Boston plans to partner with retailers in all channels of trade, including department stores and bed, bath, gift, craft and camera retailers. To help retailers help the program, each "Woman to Woman" gift receptacle will bear a sticker calling without the donation to the Komen Foundation. The company will also provide signage in sum of two units sizes and distribute educational literature provided by means of the Komen Foundation promoting breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.



"Woman to Woman: Advice for Living" was inspired by means of prominent women such as Oprah Winfrey, Rosie O'Donnell and Gloria Steinem who actively encourage females of all ages to live replete lives, build self-esteem and reach for their dreams. Each of the seven photo frames is inscribed with an empowering message for building a healthy and rewarding life:

The Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 1982 by dint of Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister who died from breast cancer at the age of 36 The foundation is an international organization with a network of proffers who work through local facts to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by means of advancing cancer research, education, screening and treatment.
