New York Times Expands Its Photography Print Program - Brief Articlefresh YORK--The New York Times Photo Archives will launch the expansion of its "Live With History" program at International Artexpo of recent origin York this month by offering a fresh print program to the trade, based upon The Times' extensive photo archives. Until now, the exhibition-quality photos have been sold primarily end advertisements in the newspaper. The Times, which has individual of the largest, oldest and greatest in quantity comprehensive photo libraries in the world, also has access to the 18 million images belonging to the famed Hulton Getty Picture Gallery, giving the "Live With History" program a worldwide selection of 23 million photographs. "Live With History" features classic photographs upon almost every subject imaginable, including world facts inventors, world leaders, sports heroes, entertainers, transportation, landmarks, fashion, fads and cities. The images are available as silver-gelatin prints in a wide variety of sizes. "The photographs in the `Live With History' collection dramatize the power of the image to inform, delight, impact and inspire.
