Rewarding Employee Talent Cultivates Loyalty - Soho Editions - Brief Article

Soho Editions' holiday party showcased the work of its embellishing artists as a way of acknowledging its stable of talented employees

When planning the holiday party for Irvington, N.Y.-based Soho Editions, Director of Production Nick Rosal came up with an interesting and innovative way to celebrate the season and to reward a clump of hard-working employees.

He hired a jazz band, brought in a holiday feast and invited the company's employee company friends and local community members to its novel location for a show of original work through the crew of artists who hand-embellish the work of Soho Editions' published artists.

And among the party's visitors were veteran art publisher Harriet Rinehart and her husband, as well as Soho Editions artist Viktor Shvaiko.

Secondly he had to twitch together a party in a town where the arts are not as prominent as they were in the company's previous Manhattan location. "In a certain number of ways, we made Soho Editions known in this small, quaint novel York town," he said.
