Spotlight On Colville Publishing - Brief ArticleTORRANCE, Calif.--For the folk at Colville Publishing, individual thing remains the company's top priority--the artists. "Our main goal is giving our core of artists the best representation we can," said Victoria Berg, Colville Publishing's marketing director. Floral artist Burkett Kaiser also works with giclees, and the company plans to swell her work by releasing a fresh piece every three months to "keep the moment going with her," said Berg. Colville's newest artists--Gerhartz and Simandle--are also going muscular "We premiered Daniel last November and we've already sold without a couple of editions," said Berg. The company plans to release a novel Gerhartz piece every other month Simandle has already done four releases since being signed upon in May, and another piece is publicly in production. "You have just oil galleries all the way down to the [i]affiche[/i] frame shop. We would like to focus more upon the middle and top three-quarters of that." Plus, company officials, including Title and President Peter Iwasaki, are always upon the hunt for new, quality artists--"We're always looking, we have race submit, and we go to exhibits looking for new artists," said Berg. on the other hand even with this expansion, Colville's focus upon its artists will never change. "We do have feeling we have quality artists, and that's really our focus," said Berg. "I would say smooth if we bring on fresh artists, it will probably be sole one or two every year. I can't diocese us ever having 50 artists--we will always have a fix upon core."
