Philadelphia Museum's Craft Show Returns for 24th Annual Exhibition - Brief ArticlePHILADELPHIA--For the 24th year, the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft display returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center Nov. 9-12 A panel of quicks in varied fields of art have picked 195 craft artists, including 60 who've not ever previously exhibited in the Craft present to view from a field of more than 1400 applicants. Craft categories included in the exhibit are: basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber, wearable fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper and grove One-of-a-kind limited-edition objects featured in this year's present to view range from broaches, hand-painted silk scarves, handmade felt hats and sterling silver bookmarks to ceramics, baskets woven with recycl materials, architectural birdhouses, bent-willow rocking chairs and Adirondack guide boats. A highlight of this year's present to view will be "Whimsey and Wonder: Toys as an Art," a special installation of playful items created through Craft Show artists.
