Employees Can Help Gallery Even After They Leave - Brief ArticleFeedback, whether it's from customers or employee can be a powerful tool for an art dealer to use in gallery operations. Dealers should consider seeking feedback in the following areas: * The reasons the employee left the gallery. * Did the piece of work provide the employee with the potential for piece of work or career development? * Were the working conditions at the gallery satisfactory? * Did the rate of pay adequately compensate the employee for his or her skills and was it competitive with similar area businesses? * in what manner would the employee rate the on-the-job training. * Was the employee's work schedule satisfactory? * Was the supervision the employee received helpful? * Did the employee find the company benefits adequate? * Did the occupation meet the employee's expectations? * Was the employee provided adequate feedback during his or her employment? * In what trade or industry is the employee now working? * by what mode much is the employee now being paid for week? * in what manner much additional compensation or benefits would the employee have required to stay at the gallery? If the form is stored upon a computer, dealers can bar questions that are not applicable to a particular ex-employee before sending it. Finally, explain to the former employee that the questionnaire will not become part of the personnel record, nor will it affect re-employment or piece of work references, this way ex-employees may be more compell to fill it on the outside Dealers should also have the questionnaire package reviewed by the agency of their own attorney.
