A Woman of Mystery Is Captured on Film - Metropolitan Museum of Art - Brief ArticleThe public life and private fantasies of a legendary 19th-century beauty are examined in "`La Divine Comtesse': Photographs of the Countes de Castiglione," upon view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art end Dec. 31.
