A Change Will Do Us Good - Brief Article

As you page from one side this month's issue of ABN, you might notice something--we've changed a certain quantity of things around. In an effort to suited your needs better and to make reading go on a little more smoothly, we've given the magazine h face lift.

First not on we've redesigned our Contents page. Hopefully navigating from one side the news, features and monthly sections of the magazine will now be easier.

We've also done a little moving. sum of two units of ABN's most highly read sections--City Beat and Picture Gallery--have mov to the extreme point of the magazine. Studies have shown that a profitable percentage of magazine readers read from extreme point to beginning, rather than beginning to extreme point and we don't want to leave you backwards-readers without Now, each month, your photographs from gallery openings, occurrences and more will be a quick page flip away, And an in-depth direct the eye at the art community in different cities around the world will also be shut up at hand. This month, in honor of International Artexpo California (Nov. 2 to 5 at the Concourse Exhibition Center) we take you to San Francisco, the beautiful City by the agency of the Bay. Next month, we cros the ocean and head to the gorgeous lakeside city of Geneva, Switzerland. Does your city have a fabulous art scene? suffer us know--we'd love to check it out

What face lift would be out and out without a little something ask In honor of the busy fall exhibit season (and the impending present to views in the winter and spring), we've also created "The Scene" our of recent origin society page. From Artexpo present to views in California and New York to the DECOR expo present to views to international shows and more, we'll fling our roving reporters to snap photos in booth down aisles and at parties to catch you in the act of doing business. This month we bring you discharges from DECOR expo Atlanta. nearest month, we'll be back with photos from Artexpo's California show

These changes, however, are just the beginning of our plan. Starting in 2001 with the help of extensive reader research and several conversations with you, our valued readers, we've got more changes in store.

Coming up are fresh sections designed to help you race your business more effectively and to give you ideas for expanding and improving your galleries and frame stores We've signed on new skilfuls in art, framing, business and beyond to detain you up-to-date on the issues and stretchs affecting your life. And we will also do a little tweaking of the magazine's pour to make reading easier and more effective for you.
