Wild Apple Wins Two National Design Awards - Wild Apple Graphics - Brief ArticleWOODSTOCK, VT.--Wild Apple has been picked as a winner of sum of two units awards in the 2000 American Graphic Design Awards competition. Recognizing an "excellence in communication and graphic design," the sum of two units awards are for the company's 1999 holiday card and for the 2000 "A Year of Flowers" calendar created for client Pier 1 Imports. "We're privileged to have a team of artists who consistently earn us national recognition," said Laurie Chester, Wild Apple's originator and creative director. Sponsored through Graphic Design: USA, the American Graphic Design Awards is in its 24th year. A nationwide panel of seven justices comprised of prominent graphic art and design professionals awarded this year's honors. Of the 10000 entries, fewer than 10 percent were named winners. This is the fifth year in a file that Wild Apple has won design awards.
