Awards & grantsChinese-born, fresh York-based artist Xu Bing has won the inaugural Artes Mundi Prize, given by dint of the National Museum and Gallery of Wales in Cardiff. The biennial prize, worth approximately $75000 is for work that addresses the human form or the human condition.
