AwardsThe Order of Arts and alphabetic characters given twice annually by the French conduct was recently awarded to MOMA president Agnes Gund scholar Robert Rosenblum architect Bernard Tschumi, fresh Museum founding director Marcia Tucker and gallery possessor Denise Cade. The American Institute of Architects has given its gold medal to Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta. He is the first Latin American to receive the honor. The 1999 Basil H Alkazzi Award has been given to Brian Novatny of Brooklyn and Marc Brodzik of Philadelphia.
