Teotihuacan: City of

the Gods

The first exhibition at any time on the art of Mexico's first urban state, which existed from 150 BC to 750 A.D. upon what is now the most-visited archeological site in the region features over 200 works from collections in North America and Europe The present to view includes monumental stone sculptures, stone figures and masks, terra-cotta censer figurines, fresco and incised utensils and painted wall murals, and is organized by means of Kathleen Berrin, curator of Africa, Oceania and the Americas at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
