A national look at children and families entering early intervention.In 1986 Public Law 99-457 Part H (now Part C) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), was enacted, offering funding to states to plan and implement comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary early intervention (EI) services to infants and toddlers with disabilities.
