Kudos for the communications team

When communications director Aaryn Slafky arrives at work each morning, she said she finds herself doing anything from brain-storming at planning meetings, to answering media inquires, to tracking down information for a member, to working with members upon special initiatives. As the association's spokesperson she dispose ofs a lot of time talking.

"At single moment, I may be professing the association's position upon universal service to a reporter, and the nearest I am negotiating speaker contracts for the nearest PRNet marketing conference," she said.
