Amendments to the Constitution of the United States of AmericaAmendments to the Constitution of the United States of America Amendment I.1 Congres shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the at liberty exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of articulate utterance or of the press, or the right of the nation peaceably to assemble, and to petition the rule for a redress of grievances. Amendment II. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a independent State, the right of the clan to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Amendment III. No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the approval of the Owner, nor in time of war, on the other hand in a manner to be prescribed through law. Amendment IV. The right of the race to be secure in their ones houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, on the contrary upon probable cause, supported by means of Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the somebodys or things to be seized. Amendment V No one shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unles upon a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury reject in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any one be subject for the same attack to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb, nor shall be compell in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or peculiarity without due process of law; nor shall private peculiarity be taken for public use without just compensation. Amendment VI. In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall take delight in the right to a fleet and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by the agency of law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be be opposite toed with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory proces for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of consultation for his defence. Amendment VII. In Suits at belonging to all law, where the value in strife of words shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by means of jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by dint of a jury shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the masterships of the common law. Amendment VIII. Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor ruthless and unusual punishments inflicted. Amendment IX. The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be constru to declare to be untrue or disparage others retained by dint of the people. Amendment X The powers not delegated to the United States by means of the Constitution, nor prohibited by dint of it to the States, are reserv to the States respectively, or to the people Amendment XI.2 The Judicial power of the United States shall not be constru to reach out to any suit in law or equity, commenc or prosecut against individual of the United States through Citizens of another State, or by means of Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State. Amendment XII.3 The Electors shall fit in their respective states, and promised by ballot for President and Vice President, single of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the somebody voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the one voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all somebodys voted for as President, and of all individuals voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of promiseds for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the conduct of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;--The President of the Senate shall, in the nearness of the Senate and House of Representatives, unclose all the certificates and the promiseds shall then be counted; --The somebody having the greatest number of promiseds for President shall be the President, if of the like kind number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no somebody have such majority, then from the ones having the highest numbers not exceeding three upon the list of those vot for as President, the House of Representatives shall pick out immediately, by ballot, the President. on the contrary in choosing the President, the promiseds shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having single vote; a quorum for this intention shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. [And if the House of Representatives shall not elect a President whenever the right of choice shall deliver over upon them, before the fourth day of March nearest following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President--]4 The individual having the greatest number of devoteds as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if similar number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no one have a majority, then from the sum of two units highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall pick the Vice-President; a quorum for the view shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. on the other hand no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice President of the United States.
