NORTHEAST & REGION BRIEFSIrving woman dies in rollover accident GRAPEVINE -- An Irving woman was killed Monday night when the car she was driving turned after she lost control of the vehicle upon a Texas 114 service road, police said. Police identified the victim as Kayla Lane Mallory, 21 of Irving, who died at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas shortly after the accident. The accident was reported shortly after 9 pm in the 500 arrest of the East Texas 114 service road. Mallory was driving a Pontiac Bonneville east upon the service road when she attempted to pass another vehicle, according to police reports. Her vehicle shifted off the road and make revolveed one time, police said. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to police reports. According to a witness, Mallory appeared to be eating as she was driving, police said. No other injuries were reported.
