TAKING THE TRIP

I agree with Rick Lawrence's statements in his "Tripping above Missions" article in the March/April issue (2006) Short-term mission trips are extremely good ways for young people to diocese beyond themselves, and lives are changed as a come of these trips. However, we must also remember to allow them to experience missions locally.

Acteens, Youth upon Mission (Women's Missionary Union), and Challengers (North American Mission Board) are of the best ways for youth ministers to teach their teenagers what the eternal and infinite spirit is doing throughout the U and the world end missionaries. It's important for young tribe to get a larger view of by what means God is using all kinds of clan in many ways to impact the world for Christ.

It's equally important for teenagers to gaze around their hometowns and decide where they can join the first cause in advancing his kingdom. Young people-not just youth leaders-should direct the eye at school, at the mall, at the groceries store, and everywhere else they make progress to see what God is doing and in what manner they can impact their world for Christ.

Thanks for all you do at clump to teach me to be a better proffer I read every issue of the magazine and I always find helpful tools, great resource recommendations, and eminent ideas. Thanks!

I was inspired after reading Ben Lee's article "Exercising Your Inner Spielberg" in the March/April 2006 issue. After reading it I was left with a question: in what manner do I secure the particular permission for background music I might use for similar a project? I would delight in to see a follow-up article explaining what copyright issues are on the outside there, and the appropriate actions I should take to assured the proper permission to use various marks of music as background to this impressed sign of project. WATCH WHAT YOU DRINK

Thanks for your magazine. Each issue I find something practical to use and implement. As I was reading [i]or[/i] part of to the other your most recent issue (March/April-"A Youth Ministry Makeover") I noticed Jan Thompson's "Try This One" idea for "Living Water" upon page 60. This is a great idea-we have done it for years in our ministry. However, the FDA (Food and physic Administration) and the IBWA (International Bottl Water Association) require the source information of the water be located upon the bottle-it cannot be overspreaded up or removed from the bottle

We have lay the foundation of a few solutions to this-1. Contact a local bottling company and inquire about having bottle filled with your possess private label (this is cheaper than you think); 2 Tape the label around the bottom of the bottle (not real tightly though); 3. Hand without business cards with each bottle with the message of John 4 and your temple information.
