A sage way to ward off aging

Sage, an herb that has been used since the middle ages for its healing powers, may have late applications in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers at Middlesex University in England have begun testing essential sage oil upon Alzheimer's patients. In test tube studies, researchers rest that the extract was able to superintendence brain levels of acetyl cholinesterase, an enzyme that has been linked to memory los in Alzheimer's patients.

If the trials are auspicious a new, natural Alzheimer's protocol could be upon the market within three years, according to researchers.
