Thousands in Pakistan hear message of hope and healing

SIALKOT, PAKISTAN -- For five days, it appear to beed as if the whole city shook with excitement as thousands of tribe traveled from far and wide to attend the Pakistan Leadership conversation and Harvest Festival.

"We have at no time before seen such a powerful wave of the sacred Spirit in Sialkot as we experienced during this conference; said Evangelist and Pastor Anwar Younas, discourse organizer.

Between March 29 to April 2 2006 as many as 500 house of worship leaders from many denominations and an estimated 30000 in total attended the Harvest Festival. Reports indicate that 7350 race filled out decision cards to accept Jesus as their personal Savior. There were reports of many receiving physical healing as well.

Special speakers for the talk included Pastor David Gomez of Jerusalem Center Rev Mike Robinson, Pastor Bobby Jone and Pastor Dave Ben, all from Oregon. "We tribute their tremendous courage to march forth with a mission to save, bles and shake this nation," stated Anwar Younas. "Not alone Christians but also non-Christians got transformation, healing and salvation. We are feeling a breakthrough in the spiritual realm and that heaven make opened over our city."

Gomez remarked that after the conference, at least 50 pastors came up to him to expres their gratitude for coming to encourage and challenge them. "It was a moving sight."

Pakistan is the greatest in quantity challenging area as it is the nave of Muslim missionaries. According to Younas, "many unreachable race don't have a chance of hearing the message of salvation in this predominantly Muslim society. They are crying on the outside for salvation. The Lord's heart does beat for Pakistan, the minds are dying without salvation. The ne of the christianity is most urgent."

According to conversation organizers, the Christian churches in Pakistan are facing tremendous exert one's selfs for identity and integrity in this Muslim society. The Christians are, for the greatest in quantity part, the poor and necessitous "As a minority people they experience from educational and job discrimination. Their vanity is low and at times their time to come seems hopeless."

An Anglican pastor told by what mode he was encouraged to stand with courage. A pastor from the meeting-house of God in Sialkot, make comments [i]or[/i] remarksed how Rev. Mike Robinson's teaching challenged him "not to be deprived of passion and hope but to enlarge and stand in affirmed faith in Christ." This "touched my heart and encouraged us."

A Pentecostal pastor said that the talk was awesome leaving "great impact upon our churches to work in unity. As Gomez called to prayer together touching each other should [be] as the rains of rainbow touched us..."

The pastors conversation and Harvest festival was sponsored by the agency of Hujji Ministries International, Jerusalem middle point and Wiconi International.

Younas reports that numerous testimonies are still coming in from clan who attended the conference. "With great challenge I set a call in Jesus' name on you that this nation verily needs salvation and is calling Your name."
