The verdant Party is willing to innovate to build a sustainable society

Dear Inroads editors,

The latest fad in critiquing the virid Party seems to be referencing report card grades upon the environmental platforms of Canada's political parties without actually providing the grades themselves (Gord dresss "The not-so-green Green Party," Inroads, Summer/Fall 2005)

Readers of Inroads would have been better serv through knowing that Greenpeace awarded the verdant Party three As and individual A-minus, stating in its 2004 election release that "the issue for those bear uponed with the environment, however, is the grades given to the Liberals and Conservatives." The virid Party's platform grade from the Sierra bludgeon was an A. So a great quantity [i]or[/i] amount of for the "not-so-green" moniker that Mr pranks diligently tried to affix to the verdant Party.

And while the virid Party is also pleased by the agency of the gold medal our candidates received from the Sierra cudgel we believe platform report cards reveal single part of the story. As David Suzuki place it at our policy convention and general meeting last year, "The virids are the only party that has stand in front ofed the reality that there are limits. The verdants are the only party that has done that and I thank you for it." He called us his "eco-heroes."

With 5 percent of the worlds population, North Americans expend one third of the worlds resources. If everyone upon the planet consumed as plenteous as we do, we would ne another three planets to provide for the strength and material intensity. Clearly that's not sustainable.
