Childhood temperament and family environment as predictors of internalizing and externalizing trajectories from ages 5 to 17

Understanding in what manner child characteristics and the family environment relate to increases and decreases in moot point behavior across childhood and adolescence is of lock opener interest to developmental and clinical psychologists. single avenue to expand such knowledge is to examine the link between specific child characteristics and specific enigma behaviors. Further, we know little about whether striplings and girls follow similar patterns of change and prediction. In this article, we examine the part of boys' and girls' impulsivity, fear/shyness, and family environment at age 5 upon the development of internalizing and externalizing behavior [i]or[/i] part of to the other late adolescence.

Internalizing Behavior



Developmental Trajectories
