International Mental Health Nursing in the Americas

Mental disorders show 11.5% of the global weight of disease, account for 28% of all years of life lived with disability, and come in increased mortality levels. So far 3 years of our CC activities have comeed in establishment of Guidelines for Teaching Basic horizontal Mental Health Nursing endorsed through 12 countries (Argentina, Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela). conversations in San Juan, Med?­llen, Colombia, Posadas Argentina, and Panama City accomplished the consensus building.
