Congratulations to all TOY award winners and kudos to the Region IV talk committee for a great International talk The conference was a quality venue and tendered great opportunities for both professional unfolding and networking. Thank you to all who worked in the way that hard to make it happen.

We would like to remind the membership that the Journal website (http://www.ashland.edu/correctionaled/) has added a "Best Practices" task plan database. CEA members are invited to submit their best correctional education exercise s for consideration for publication in the Journal of Correctional Education.

Finally, the CEA Publications Committee has picked the topic for the July 2006 Special Topics issue of the Journal. The topic will be "Women's Issues in Correctional Education." Please consider this important and timely issue in correctional education and start to plan your research and writing to include potential publications upon the topic for the July 2006 Journal of Correctional Education.
