DEMOCRATIZATION, SOCIAL CRISIS AND THE IMPACT OF MILITARY DOMESTIC ROLES IN LATIN AMERICACivil-military relations theorists have lengthy warned against the participation of armed forces in domestic missions in democratic societies.
