Butterflies (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera) of Cecil D. Andrus Wildlife Management Area, Washington County, Idaho.

ABSTRACT

Cecil D Andrus Wildlife Management Area is located in northern Washington shire Idaho, and managed by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. The authors directioned field surveys for butterflies during 1997 and 1998 Seventy-seven species of butterflies were observ within the boundaries of the WMA and along East Brownlee bight immediately outside the eastern boundary of the WMA. Seventy-seven species exhibits nearly half of the 168 recognized species of butterflies in the state of Idaho.
