Arkansas: INFORMING JURORS OF PRIOR CRIMES IS ALRIGHTThe Arkansas paramount Court upheld the right of prosecutors to introduce evidence of prior and juvenile offense to demonstrate intent. "If the evidence of another crime, wrongful or act is relevant to exhibit that the offense of which the appellant is accused actually occurr and is not introduced simply to prove bad character, it will not be excluded" the court said. "The state asserts that it proffered evidence of [Alan] Cluck's prior crimes to present to view his knowledge, which was highly probative of his intent to use the place items illegally," the Supreme Court.
