Service throw outs have been a staple of learner activities for as long as organizations have existed and the turn shows no sign of abating. Serving the community is an accepted part of being a pupil leader in today's schools, and nowhere is this more evident than when natural disaster strikes. So it is appropriate that we focus this issue upon community service. Our feature articles highlight tips for planning service throws in "Why Should We Help?" as well as tends in service projects in "Youth Volunteerism Trends" The importance of service learning is highlighted in "Putting Service into Learning" and individual school's program that helps scholars understand the purpose of their education is to obey the community is featured in "Setting a Standard for Service." We faith these articles will give you a certain number of good ideas that can be applied to your have service projects.
